I’ve been sick since last week and generally still not feeling very well. I’ve spent most of the weekend on the couch with my eye’s fixated on the television. Not such a bad way to spend two days. Well, it was my husbands birthday and a sick wife along with a sick child equaled a rather pathetic gift. I gave him three bags of potato chips. Yeah, not much thought was put into that one. Opps! I’m blaming it on the kid. He was screaming and chips were the fastest thing I could grab while in the checkout lane.
So this weekend I sat on the couch (a lot), bought my husband a clever birthday gift and managed to sneak in a few craft projects. Anyhow, just wanted to post some really beautiful cakes I saw while glued to the television. The Cake Girls are a sister team based out of Chicago and they seem like the sweetest ladies. Made me want to move to Chicago and work in their shop… or at least visit Chicago and crash someone’s party where their cake is being served. How beautiful are these?
