I am in love with the map covered wall from Land of Nod. I have no idea when I will redecorate my sons room but I would love to do something similar. I think about that image often. Then a few weekends back I was at the Hester Flea and came across Severely Vintage. I wanted *everything* that guy was selling, including the old school class room maps. I did make one small purchase but perhaps someday, I’ll make a much bigger one. Check out some of his past sales below.

May 22, 2010things i’m lovin’
April 24, 2009I’ve been a bit absent this week but I have found myself consumed with a few things so I thought I would share.
I was looking for some summer toys this week and came across polka dot chalk on the Land of Nod website. O-kay, how flipping cute it that! The set also includes marbleized and striped chalk but I’m going gah-gah over the polka dot chalk. Way too adorable.
My mom and husband aren’t really feelin’ this one but I’m completely smitten over these baby leg warmers. Now baby leg warmers are nothing new but what’s new to me is the pastel polka dot design. Love them! And I know it’s summer but they seem practical to me so I got Graycen a pair.
Folks, lets put on our Diva Mommy Sombreros and think outside the box. Summer is hot but sometimes you’re out all day and then it’s night and bam, it’s chilly out and your kid is wearing daisy dukes. Well Graycen’s a boy so no daisy dukes but you get what I’m saying. So that’s when you whip out the cute summer leg warmers. Or how about the subway cars that can be supper chilly and you’re on the subway for an hour cause you’re going to Coney Island. Whip out the leg warmers. See, he does need these. Needless, I love ‘em and if it means I’m wearing ‘em then so be it.
This is going to sound a bit out there but I am seriously loving this product, Viva Paper Towels. They are soft and have a super nice touch to them. I thought it was just me but then a houseguest commented on them and asked for the brand name. Then my husband even said something about them. Now he insists we only use Viva Paper Towels. I’ve never paid attention but I’m guessing they might cost a bit more… but it’s worth it. Plus, they don’t break up when you clean so you can actually clean more with one sheet. Seriously, try them!
